Asian Moon

by James Natsis » Thu Aug 21, 2008 1:10 pm

Greetings,
For those of you who happen to be in the area of Hikes Lane and Breckenridge there is a new restaurant called Asian Moon across from the Starbucks at 3360 Hikes Lane. There are some interesting things on the menu such as Pad Thai noodles, eggplant and tofu, asparagus chicken, and others. The place looks nice inside and has a sushi counter which will be up and running within a month. They will also procure their liquour license in a few more days. I had the tofu and eggplant and a cup of egg drop soup with corn. I would not rate it as exceptional, but it is a small oasis (once the sushi is served, especially) in a sea of fastfood bland.

I recommend the Asparagus Chicken. It was excellent. So were the Lettuce Wraps.

What's it like, Michelle? Bite-size chicken bits stir-fried with inch-long asparagus pieces, or something else? I love the sound of the flavor combo ...

It was chicken, bite size pieces of asparagus, I think it had carrots, and black bean sauce.

Hey, I could probably make that! :D

I think I'll give Asian Moon a try, though. Thanks, Michelle!
