I am heading to Veags next week. This is not the first time I've visted ; so there are a few places that'll be familiar. Still, I have not been in over a year. Suggestions? I'll be staying at TI ( Treasure Island ) from Sunday - Wed. On Wed , I'll be traveling to Park City , Utah for the first time . Any inforamation , regarding places to dine , would be appreciated.

I visited Park City about a year ago, and remember eating at Wasatch Brew Pub. From what I remember it was really good, and I'd go back again. I think everyone that I was with got fish and chips, so I'm afraid that's all I can recommend. They've got a nice selection of micro-brews, and the Hefe-Weizen was especially tasty. It's right on Main Street, along with several other restaurants. http://www.wasatchbeers.com/

One place I hope you don't visit is La Casita. It was without a doubt the worst service I've ever gotten at a restaurant, expensive, and the food wasn't very good either. If you see this place, run far far away.

If you're traveling to Salt Lake City from Park City, you can pass through Solitude, and go down big cottonwood canyon road. At the base of the mountain there is a great restaurant called Porcupine Grill & Pub. We stayed in Solitude, so we were about in the middle between this place and Park City. It isn't worth going out of your way to visit, but worth a stop if you can make it. http://www.porcupinepub.com/

Our favorite restaurant in Las Vegas is Rosemary's. It's on West Sahara off the strip so it has a very relaxed atmosphere. Their food is marvelous and service is impeccable. It's owned by a couple, he used to be a Sous chef for Emirell and she used own a catering business before they opened the restaurant. Here's a link to their website: Rosemary's

I did a chefs' dinner in Las Vegas a few year's back and had the opportunity to dine at numerous restaurants. The worst on my list has to be Mesa Grill by Bobby Flay. It is very expensive Tumbleweed.

Rosemary's was good, not great, but very good. It's a nice place to visit well off the strip, but still a bit pricey in my mind for what we ate. Service was very friendly though. And be sure to make reservations if you can - they were busy the night we were there during the week and I think it might have been a half price wine night - or something resembling that. It's been a few months.

And there's a nice coffee shop called Espresso if you get a chance, also not on the strip but south (I think) on Flamingo. You'd think I'd have a better sense of direction since I used to go visit my grandparents all the time out there. I'm sure you could google it.

The restaurant I really enjoyed was Gatsby's in the MGM but it's called something else now... :(
