The name above the door: Butchers Best Meats and Deli. One of the two owners listed on the card in the window has the last name of Best, James Best if memory serves. Wondering if it could be an offshoot of the Mike Bests Meats. Looks like work is just getting started inside, but we are looking forward to having a butcher shop down in Prospect. Thanks to Amy BK for the tip!

They moved to their current location at Brownsboro Rd and I-264 from Westport Road. They have been planning/working that Westport Road expansion for decades.

WOW! Pure speculation here (will confirm today though) but me thinks this shop will be run by Jimmy (we were cutters together at Whole Foods) and he is the best in town, bar none!!. I hope this is the case as there is not a nicer man on the planet!Ed Vermillion wrote:After a very good meal at Blackstone Grill tonight (more on that later) we noticed that a butcher shop is going into the former space of Pig & a Peppermint in the Prospect Point shopping center.
