Another place we always have a nice dinner is the "Sea Shack" it's a little hard to find but it's a place where many of the locals go and the food is excellent! Nothing fancy, you order at the counter and the food is brought to you.
We found one of the biggest disappointments recently is "Hudson's on the Docks" it used to be one of our favorite places to go for shrimp but it's gone downhill significantly and is now on our places to avoid list.

Aunt Chilada's for Mexican on Pope Ave. A little further down Pope in the Bi-Lo shopping center is a nice Cajun spot who's name escapes me. At Coligny Circle is Captain's Seafood and in Harbortown inside Sea Pines is the Crazy Crab. These are all casual, moderately priced places that have stood the test of time.

Harold's is usually only open for breakfast and lunch so they're normally closed by 3 P.M. I also believe they are closed on Sunday. Please tell me this is when you went by because my family will be crushed if that joint is gone. Thanks, hope you had a good time at the beach.
