Limestone and alligator sausage

by TP Lowe » Tue Aug 05, 2008 10:03 pm

The mixed grill special tonight at Limestone was stunning - a wonderful tender grill of beef, grilled quail and alligator sausage - wow! The grilled meats tasted like they had just been grilled out back under the early evening summer sun over a traditional charcoal grill - and the sausage was spicy and crunchy and was the perfect foil for the fresh vegetables. Gracious service and an consistent food experience keep this east end white tablecloth destination at the top of my short list of favorites.

Have you made it over to Park Place lately, Todd? I would be interested in hearing your impressions if you have.

I have not, Ed, but I really need to. I keep hearing such good reports - have you had good experiences lately?

We have been 3 or 4 times over the past 6 months. Part of a group, as a family and just Cindy & I and every visit has been outstanding. Impeccable service, imaginative and delicious food and very friendly staff. They are hitting on all cylinders. I think you would enjoy it.

Good to hear - I'll give it a go soon. Along with the good cuisine I always enjoy hearing my buddy Steve Crews play piano, too.

Thanks for the note, Ed.
