Flanagan's 7 Course Beer Dinner

by Ashley Isaacs » Tue Aug 05, 2008 5:35 pm

If you like beer dinners, listen up! We here at Flanagan's have put together an event you won't easily forget! On Sunday, August 17th at 6:00 pm we will have our second Blind Tasting Beer Dinner. Now, if you aren't familiar with beer dinners, this is really going to be a treat. Our chefs have created a wonderful 7 course meal of some of the most delectable food ever to come out of a kitchen! Each course will be paired with a specific style of beer, and you will get 3 glasses of different brews all in the same style. For example, we might just pair something spicy with three different IPAs, or something sweet with three different stouts. That means you will be trying 21 different beers over a 7 course dinner! It just doesn't get any better. The most fun part about it... it will be a blind tasting! Yep, that's right, you're not going to know the name brands of the brews your drinking until afterwards! And to top things off, you get to vote on which beers you like the best for each style. The beers with the highest ratings will be put on draft. So in essence, you get to pick what draft beers we will carry! Tickets are on sale now and we will sell out quickly! It's going to be an amazing night, with shrimp, pork tenderloin, and Chocolate Decadence cake as a few of the examples of the courses. Hope you can make it!

Tickets are $45 per person, and that includes tax but not gratuity. Guess I should have included that little piece of info! Any of you BBC fellows going to make it?

I've had a few questions about the size of the 21 beers. It's a tasting, so it is 3oz of each brew!
