Goin' to town: Little country restaurant set to challenge of

by TP Lowe » Fri Apr 13, 2007 8:47 am

From today's Business First web site:

"About eight or 10 years ago, a customer asked Kenny Way where he'd like to put a second Our Best restaurant. The Smithfield, Ky.-based restaurant owner didn't miss a beat.

"I told 'em, 'Right next door to Cracker Barrel.' "

The rest is here:

Can't read the article, us non-subscribers. :(

Any info on expansion plans you can relate?

Thanks,

Sorry about that - they just moved it off the available page into a different place. I'd cut and paste more but I think I'd be doing something illegal! Maybe others who have been to the restaurant can provide some color.

Our Best

by Pam G » Fri Apr 13, 2007 11:04 am

Our Best has a paragraph regarding their expansion on their webpage.

http://www.ourbestrestaurant.com/newlocations.html

And from the article in last weeks Business First. They are opening the second Our Best, at 5448 Antle Way, which is south of the intersection of Preston Highway and the Gene Snyder. It also says construction will begin in about 3 weeks.

The article also says another Our Best is planned in Jeffersonville on 10th St. They are also considering locations in Georgetown, KY, and the Valley Station area.

When copying Biz First links, delete everything after (and including) the question mark. That numerical stuff at the end just identifies your E-mail account, and the ^ in it breaks the hotlink for other users.

Try it this way:
http://louisville.bizjournals.com/louis ... tory5.html

Oops, I thought that was free. It's in a part of the site you have to pay to read.

I don't know how you saw that in the URL, but I'll keep it in mind for future links!

Try this:
http://louisville.bizjournals.com/louis ... 1176091200^1442817

You'll have to cut and paste in the last few digits which aren't included in the "hot" link.

That works, Lois, thanks!

Here's an "embedded" link that should work as a hotlink. Let's see ...
