North Atlanta Breakfast

Anyone have any suggestions for a great breakfast on Atlanta Northside? I'm out by ATL and will be taking I 285 around the west side of town as they have the majority of I 75 shut down for paving this weekend. I wont be leaving for another hour so any suggestions would be appreciated.

Wish I could help, Ed ... The Varsity is about all I remember of Atlanta, but I think it's downtown. Northside is pretty much chain city, isn't it?

I hope someone else jumps in soon, but in any case, have a safe trip home!

The Varsity is out by Georgia Tech and I couldn't handle their good, greasy burgers for breakfast. Cindy made it home yesterday and Duncan and I try to avoid the chains. Should have posted last night but hope springs eternal for this morning.
