Oakroom Celebration Tonight at the Back Door

I know this in on short notice....




I was asked to pass the word along to those who read the forums.

The Oakroom staff will be gathering tonight to celebrate the new ventures Chefs Todd Richards & Duane Nutter and FOH guru Jerry Slater will be embarking on.
In addition, celebrating the future and continued excellence of the restaurant.

We are inviting any colleagues, friends, foodies, and anyone who has ever dined with us to come be festive with us, and give a great send off these guys before they pack up for Atlanta.

We'll all be meeting at the Back Door in late evening.


On behalf of the Oakroom, we hope to see you there.

Sounds like super fun-wish I could come for a late night drink and burger (they have the BEST burgers) but will not be able to come and celebrate. Hope they are successsful in Atlanta and am sure the Oakroom will still be lovely! HAVE FUN!!!

Should be a memorable sendoff! I hope a lot of the forum's food-industry people and foodies can make it. I was fortunate to run into Todd, Duane and Jerry at the Vanguard wine tasting this week, but I wouldn't mind dropping by myself.

Any idea what "late evening" is likely to turn out to be? We talking 10 p.m. or 2 a.m. here?

Probably starting around 10pm or so, then knowing how us in the service industry are... some staying till close.

On a side note, I'm a bit bummed that some "technical difficulties" kept me from being able to make it down to the Vanguard show. :x
