Good God, if I posted everytime I heard a restaurant was closing, I would have burned every bridge I have ever made in this business. It is true that alot of businesses close all the time, but you have to think about a rumor before you give it more credibility and post it on a forum where almost every chef, restaurant owner and foodie in the Louisville area is a member.
Deano sank lots of money into this place, he will no doubt see a return on his investment in the long run, but profit margins being as tight as they are, it may take 3-5 years to make it past the original investment.(Pure speculation on my part)
If you have ever dined at Equus, Jack's, or Corbett's, you know immediately that Deano does everything the right way, takes no short cuts, and attracts the most talented staff in the area. He has the Midas touch in the restaurant business.
