Winston’s Restaurant Presents a Study in Tomatoes
Heirloom Tomato Dinner on August 1,2,8 and 9 Showcases Locally Grown Varieties


On August 1, 2, 8 and 9, chef John Castro will present a six-course heirloom-tomato dinner at Winstons. The meal will include several varieties, some locally grown specifically for Winston’s. The cost of the dinner is $55, or $75 with wine, excluding tax and gratuity. For reservations, call 456-0980.

Tomato and Goat Cheese Terrine

Grilled Eggplant and Summer Squash with a ragout of lentils, bacon and heirloom tomatoes

Heirloom Tomato “Panzanella”

Fish Course
Seared Sea Scallop with heirloom tomatoes, garlic, and herb grits, finished with a preserved lemon sauce
