I went down to Las Gorditas yesterday for my weekly taco fix and noticed that the new Dakshin Indian restaurant had a stand set up on the sidewalk with a sign that said "Chaat Corner." I looked it up and apparently chaat refers to roadside stands common in India and Pakistan that offer small portions of various foods. Since we already had a bag of tacos I didn't stop, but I'll try to get by later this week and give a report.
