Smoked Salmon Special

by Paul Nicheols » Wed Jul 23, 2008 3:29 pm

Every Wednesday at Frankfort Avenue Beer Depot and Smokehouse, we have a Smoked Salmon special. The dinner comes with two sides and is served with a dill aioli and is $7.99. A pound goes for $13.25. I picked up extra this morning from BlueFin, stop on by, I will be in all night, if you like Salmon you will not be disappointed. It sells out fast. Thanks, Paul Nicheols

Came across a good review of F.A.B.D. while searching for BBQ across the country.

Thanks Justin for quoting my little add on page to my education website. It is amazing, and sad, that the bbq page gets much more traffic than the education pages. Check back in a couple of days for comments on Ed Boudreaux's Bayou Bar B Que in Asheville, NC and Triple E BBQ in Mt. Vernon, IL.

It might get a little worse now, Scott. Assuming you wouldn't mind, I've added your excellent site to our LouisvilleHotBytes "Louisville Restaurant HotLinks" page,
http://www.louisvillehotbytes.com/?page_id=7
under "Other Louisville Restaurant Guides." (I know you have other cities, too, but since it has a lot of Louisville links, I left it there.)

If for any reason you would prefer that I not do this, let me know. Great site, though! More important, on all the local places I checked, I agree with you. ;)

Robin, thanks for the comments and the link.

I basically put the BBQ page on the PaperWad Ideas site as away to continually stress to teachers the need to balance work and play in life. That, and I can hopefully now write off my BBQ habit as a business expense as I travel around the country. :D

I'm hosting a very special 30th b-day party tomorrow for my friend (saturday, july 26th) and we're featuring some FABD BBQ!!! I'm stoked. Not doubt, smokey and saucy debauchery will be the focus.

Happy Birthday to Beth! Is she a Foodie? Drag her to the forum and we'll sing Happy Birthday to her and get Marsha to fix her a cake! :D

Anyone know if FABD is still doing salmon on Wednesday? If not, any other great smoked salmon places in the Frankfort Ave/St Matthews area?
