Found some really nice books at Carmichael's, too ... couldn't find the one I wanted from my old childhood, but got some lucky picks. One lovely children's classic, and one that's so cute I was tempted to keep it for myself. :D

15.0 miles from here via River Road and then US42, sez Google maps ... not much over a gallon round trip. I can live with that. ;)

Considering the quality of food we get to fill our belly tank's with I'd say a gallon of gas is well worth the trip. :D
