To any of you who have not experienced a meal at Melillo's, get it done. It is a fantastic Italian-American meal, with a tremendous atmosphere...

Melillo's has never disappointed! The new covered patio is fabulous with the Bocce ball it makes you feel as if you are in Italy, quaint, cozy and some of the best family service we have ever had. If you do not feel like family here, you never will. If you have not been make the trip!! (5 smiles) :D :D :D :D :D

The bocce ball court, however, is no more. I believe a sidewalk or a neutral space was necessary so the outdoor diners do not feel like they're sitting in the parking lot.

Only as a special, Mike. I had it several months ago and it was delicious. That's why I hope they have it again. :)

Perhaps they need to have it a little more regularly. :)

Forrest told me it was too time consuming. I'm pretty ticked that I missed it, love it when it's fresh...

MIchele,

I echo the gnocchi thread- haven't had yours but I trust that it's excellent, and I do love good gnocchi. Is there a regular schedule for it as a special?

You make it so easy to determine our special for Saturday evening. We will offer gnocchi with a gorgonzola cream sauce. Of course, if you prefer marinara or alfredo sauce we will serve it with either of these. If there are any other Italian dishes that any of you are having a craving for, please let us know.
