Studios= Amazing Burger

by Mark P » Sun Jul 13, 2008 12:48 pm

My wife and I ate at Studios in New Albany last night on the way to see the Barenaked Ladies. After seeing an episode of Diners, Drive-ins, and Dives that included stuffed burgers, We both decided to try a stuffed cheeseburger, mine with blue cheese crumbles and bacon and hers with cheddar and bacon. I must say that it was a fantastic experience. I have been trying to think of a burger that I have had in recent memory that compares, but nothing even comes close. It was our first trip to Studios, so I can't comment on other menu options, but I highly recommend trying the stuffed burger.

Thanks, Leann! Since it's a public body aimed at publicizing New Albany, I'm going to assume that they won't mind my copying that snippet for the convenience of our readers. One more reason to answer "yes" in that do-you-cross-the-river poll!

Studio’s Restaurant and Pub is
open for business Monday through
Saturday in the Bader Building at
207 E. Main.
The New Albany Tribune recently
provided these details:
“Trish Meyer has more than 30 years of
restaurant experience and has been involved
with eateries such as Buckhead
Bar and Grill, Blue Rock Cafe and
Tucker’s American Favorites.
”The restaurant will feature a full bar
in an old fashioned environment and an
outdoor courtyard that will seat 75
guests.
”Studio’s will also showcase artwork
from locals, including artists such as
Andrew Rosenbarger. Exhibits from the
Gallery on Pearl will also be on display
and for sale.
“Meyer credits the move to downtown
to the upcoming opening of the new
Scribner Place YMCA, the completion
of the Ohio Greenway project and the
recent New Albany Horizon’s announcement
of a residential and commercial
development on Main Street
between Bank and Third streets.”

sorry, my original post was devoid of much useful info as I was rushed off the computer. My wife's boss told her about Studios, so we decided to try it since we were going to be by there anyway. It is at 209 E.Main St. in New Albany. I was There is a bar side and a restaurant side with an outdoor patio. The service was great, and the food matched. Its safe to say that we will add it to our regular rotation of local eateries. The owner, Trish, came by as we were about to leave and and invited us to sign her canvas wall on the patio. The wall was pretty full, so I'm guessing it has been open for a bit. She also pointed us to her website and said it linked to a myspace page as well.
