Split top hot dog buns?

Does anyone know of a local source for the New England style split top buns used for lobster rolls?

I have found these buns at Kroger (Westport rd & Holiday Manor). Being a former New Englander, I was ecstatic when I happened upon them one day. If the shelves are empty, talk to an employee about increasing the order. While they do have them, they disappear quickly. :D

I am not a New Englander, but I love Lobstah Rolls!

When we had lunch at the Seafood Connection some time ago, I noticed they used these buns for the 'lobstah' roll. The chef told me that Kroger was his supplier. He might be someone that you could ask for a more current recommendation about a wholesaler.

Pepperidge Farm does indeed make a top-loading lobster roll bun. Available, of course, at virtually all groceries.

I was in Meijers today and they have them. They are baked by Pepperidge Farm... :)
