Grape Leaf earns CJ's positive review

The Grape Leaf in Clifton seems to have really kicked up a notch since a renovation, and Marty finds a lot to like there in this week's CJ review, again penning a praiseful review that makes the restaurant sound just a bit more inviting that the standard 3-star rating implies.

The owner is aware of the financial benefits of beer selling, but is a devout Muslim. I respect the fact that he will not sell alcohol. As good a man as there is in the restaurant business.

However, I do agree, the food calls for cold beer, almost as much as BBQ does. Guess we are stuck with water or carryout.

Thanks for the info. I guessed it was something like that. The food still rocks without a cold one!
