tuna tartare at blu-my absolute favorite dish in the city

by Ellen White » Sat Mar 03, 2007 4:45 pm

I have thought of putting this out many times, but never got around to it. Blu is one of those restaurants where I can go to lunch, but I can only order the appetizers, because everything else is too expensive (this also includes Proof and YaChings).

The tuna tartare is so good! It is a circular dish consisting of nice chunks of red tuna, topped with avocado, then topped with micro greens, and surrounded by radish slices.
They bring out nice crusty bread with a selection of olive oil, balsamic, and parmesan (also butter, but I don't use that).
This is a very rich, but absolutely perfect, lunch!
