Artisanal Cheese

by Brand M » Sat Jun 28, 2008 7:25 am

I'm looking for a local place that sells farmland artisanal cheese, local and abroad. Some Belgian , French , and the fine cheeses of Europe would be nice to have access to as well. Anyone by chance know if Capriole Farms or Upland Cheese company is available in proximity to Frankfort Ave./downtown area?

Lotsa Pasta, if you want to support a local firm; and Whole Foods. Lotsa Pasta has plenty of Capriole (and so do Doll's and Burger's Market). Upland, I'm not so sure about. You can also get Capriole on Saturdays at the Bardstown Road farmers market.

I've always found all kinds of fun and unusual cheeses at Whole Foods.....plus, they are very helpful and knowledgeable about their cheeses.
If life's a Banquet, what's with all the Tofu?

Cheers!
