Upping the ante: Shariat plans three-in-one gourmet venue at Holiday Manor Walk

Anoosh Shariat plans to turn the former Genesis Medical Spa space in Holiday Manor Walk into a complex of two restaurants and a catering operation.
In the high-stakes gourmet poker game in which Louisville restaurateurs seem to be piling millions on the table, chef Anoosh Shariat is seeing all bids and raising the ante times three.
The veteran restaurateur is planning what he terms a "multifunctional, multiplex venue" in space that once was home to a Bittners home interiors store.
The space is in the Holiday Manor Walk section of Holiday Manor shopping center, directly across from Mojito Tapas restaurant.
He estimates the close to $2.5 million project is still five months from completion, but Shariat plans three distinct operations in the 10,000 square-foot space, which most recently housed Genesis Medical Spa until that business relocated last year to 2341 Lime Kiln Lane.
Roughly half of the space will be dedicated to a fine-dining restaurant tentatively named Anoosh's Bistro on the south side of the space running parallel to Brownsboro Road.
The bistro will have an internationally influenced, American-style menu, Shariat said.
On the north side of the space, also fronting the Holiday Walk parking lot, Shariat plans Anoosh A.M., a bakery and breakfast cafe, with a quick-service carryout store.
