Lexington Event Locations

HELP, please. Does anyone know of a location in the Lexington area that would be big enough for a wedding reception of 500 - 700 people? An onsite kitchen would be great, but is not neccesary. Wedding is next May and the couple are looking for a venue now.

You might try Spindletop Farms or the Kentucky Horse Park. We have had several family reunions at Spindletop and it is very nice.

Beautiful mansion, 45,000 sf, 100+acres of grounds. Certainly the capacity to do this event, and unlike a hotel, you would have the entire facility to yourselves.

I worked there for 2 years, and can attest to the quality of the facility and their top-notch culinary and service teams. This was also the location for the wedding of Alecia and Jared Pace, as seen on the Ellen Degeneres Show in 2006.
