Do you have a favorite fruit juice?

by Jackie R. » Thu Jun 19, 2008 6:28 pm

Mine is guava. Guava mojito was mentioned in another thread and I thought I'd start a discussion about it. My family was fairly poor when I was growing up, but this was one thing we treated ourselves to on occasion. I really love it.

I'm a big fan of Cran-Raspberry juice. So much so, that one of my standard drinks to order in bars has become raspberry vodka with cranberry juice.

I've always liked Welch's white-grape cherry juice. My new favorite fruit juices are V8 Fusion Blueberry Pomegranate and Acai Mixed Berry. Speaking of fruit juice inspired cocktails, I came up with a pretty good one last night--Stoli Blackberry, Pama Liquor, and Sprite.

I really like all the V8 Fusion drinks. They have some great combinations and on top of that they're very good for you!

probably tomato. I like a good orange, but it can sometimes be too tangy. Grape was a childhood fav, but adult Ronnie finds most commercial brands too sweet these days. Am yet to try a good pomegranate.

I always will pick V-8 over anything else (Tomatoes are "fruit" aren't they)

While I was living in the Hawaiian Islands I developed a passion for POG which ironically is a blend of passionfruit, orange, and guava juices...In fact, some POG fans like to enjoy a POG-a-tini after a hard day of surfing...The POG-a-tini consists of 1 part POG and 1 part Platinum 7 vodka...

No contest...fresh cold orange juice using valencia oranges from the Indian River area of Florida. Most of the oranges you buy here at the supermarket make good juice but the taste varies quite a bit depending upon the age and origin of the fruit.

Grapefruit juice, preferably with a splash of gin.

Tropicana is based in Bradenton, FL which is where my boyfriend grew up. During the summer, you can smell the factory burning the orange peels and it smells like orange-flavored Hostess cupcakes. Just a little point of interest for all you orange juice lovers.

Jumex Apple Nectar in the brick-pack ... while traveling in a very poor Latin American country, this was the only treat available. Kroger use to carry it, but alas, no longer. If any one sees it in their grocer of choice, please post and let me know because I am dying for a fix!!!!
