Velocity checks out Blue Nile

Unless I missed it, Velocity hasn't had a restaurant review for a few weeks, but today's issue presents a name that's new to me - Joanna Richards - who offers a short (354-word), postive report on the new Blue Nile Ethiopian restaurant downtown. The Web edition doesn't have the "Two for $30" logo, but it appears to be in the same spirit and price range as Lisa Hornung's occasional column.

She's a staff writer and also one of the bloggers (like myself). I've not seen her do a restaurant review before, though. I work across the street from Blue Nile but so far none of my coworkers has been brave enough to go with me.

I haven't been doing food reviews for a while because I've been busy working on another project, which I can't discuss right now.
Joanna filled in for me on that one, and I'm not sure how things will continue. Of course, we'll always have food coverage, including reviews, but we're kind of figuring out right now exactly what form that will take.
