This week, Senor Iguana's in Clarksville is celebrating its FIRST ANNIVERSARY in the old Jerry's restaurant in Clarksville, off Lewis & Clark Parkway, adjacent to Exit 4 in Clarksville. (1415 Broadway)
http://www.senoriguanas.com/A couple of friends and I went there this event and had a wonderful time with greyt eats.
I'm not very eloquent, but let me just say the ribeye steak with a little melted cheese and onions, topped with grilled shrimp was tender and delicious, perfectly spiced. Served with beans, rice and tortillas, it was a huge meal. Tonight's drink special was $2 lime margaritas.
For dessert, we shared a
Banana Burrito that was simply divine. A whole peeled banana, rolled in a flour tortilla, lightly fried just until crispy, sprinkled with cinnamon sugar, drizzled with chocolate and caramel syrups, garnished with whipped cream on the ends and accompanied with a red, juicy strawberry dipped in hardened milk chocolate. This thing is so good it's probably illegal!
We've eaten at Senor Iguana's a couple of other times and have never been disappointed. Their menu is on-line at the URL above.
BTW, on Thursday, June 26th, they are celebrating their first anniversary with a Mariachi Band, dancing and, as always, greyt food.
If you work in the area, they have a "lunch club". Get your lunch card punched x-times (I think it was 9) and your next lunch is free.
