Mark's Feed Store in Clarksville to relocate

by Todd Antz » Tue Jun 10, 2008 9:39 am

I've been sitting on this news for a few weeks, but since they put up the for sale sign on the building last night, I assume that I can break this one.

Mark's Feed Store in Clarksville is relocating in the next 2 months to Charlestown Road in New Albany. They are moving to the strip mall in front of Kohl's in the same building where Pizza King and the Asian Buffet are located.

With that, if you are looking for a prime location on Lewis and Clark Parkway right next to the best liquor store in the area (my humble opinion of course) contact Lopp Commercial Real Estate at 800-576-5677.

Clarksville Pizza Company does have a nice ring to it, and you won't have to change your logo much at all!

Never considered Marks to be REAL BBQ...Too many other places in town that have much better BBQ.

you guys do need pizza in that area, but i need a couple more years first

what do you have up there? gatti's, alexanders?

have you been to alexanders yet??

on this side of the river, BBQ restaurants have come and gone (one in georgetown & one in hamburg, bones and cones in clarksville, pig a sus) but none have lasted as long as mark's

mark's isn't the best bbq i've ever had, but the meat is consistently good,
although i'm not a fan of their sides

funny enough, one of our considerations was opening a BBQ restaurant

You know, I drove by that area in front of Kohl's this morning and I"m not sure where Mark's will go. It looks like that place is full? Maybe someone is moving? I hope they do move there, closer for me than C-ville!

I believe they are moving into the spot where Nance's Florist currently is.

Someplace decent to eat in that plaza. I'm not a fan of Pizza King although kids usually are.

And Asian Buffet. Ugh. Double Ugh.
