Attention, graphics geeks! Trying to identify logo font

by Robin Garr » Sat Mar 03, 2007 12:29 pm

Long, sad story, but after my graphics guru designed the new LouisvilleHotBytes skyline logo (small version of it now at the top of the forum page), she managed to corrupt her archived Photoshop document file AND forget the name of the cursive script font it uses.

<img src="http://www.wineloverspage.com/forum/hotbytes/templates/subSilver/images/lhbforumlogo.jpg">

Can anyone positively identify the font? We'll buy you a sixpack of BBC beer if you can nail it for us!

I put vegetables in your desserts, white chocolate with your fish and other nonsense stuff that you think shouldn't make sense, but coax the nonsense into something that makes complete sense in your mouth. Just open your mind, mouth and eat.

I happen to be a bigger fan of P22 Cezanne.

but that's just my 2 cents.

Yah, that's got to be it ... font forms are exact. I don't think you kerned your sample quite as tight as Mary did, but that's the font all right! Pam earns a six-pack! Maybe I can pay it off if we have a LouisvilleHotBytes throwdown at BBC when Chefs Todd and Duane finally air on Iron Chef America.

Aw, Jeez -- I'm finally called on for a game of "name that font" and I show up two days late!

If the issue ever comes up again, I highly recommend http://www.identifont.com/

Click the identify a font link and answer a few questions -- chances are it'll be right. My husband is in the promo products biz and we use this site all the time when he's trying to make a new imprint look just like an old one.
