It's on Bardstown Road by Assumption High School. I think it's a very good deal. Don't you think?

How would you go about researching just how good of a "deal" a place is.

It's a nice little place for fried fish, but I wonder whether it's an ideal location. As I recall, it's been through a couple of changes of ownership, and it's not right in any of the commercial strips.

It's hard to evaluate that $45,000 price without knowing what comes with it. Ownership of the property, or the right to lease it? Equipment included? There are so many variables.

I talked to the owner's girlfriend. They lease the place and apparently they will be living all the equipment that's in there.

If the $45K is just for the right to lease the space, then not such a great deal. If it's for the building and equipment, then yes, probably a good deal.

I ate there once years ago, got fried catfish and it was very very rubbery.

Kind of a let down, since the menu seemed like a good variety. Did it get better, or was my trip a fluke?

A restaurant that few on a local restaurant forum knows anything about can't be a very good deal at any price. The equipment might have value...$45K for a leased location?

Seems that with the way things are going now...This would not be the time to open a local place to eat....

OK Robert, I am going to appologize upfront for this and it truly is meant totally in jest, but, I just can't resist............. does that mean it's a good time to open a chain restaurant?

Nope I would not unless I have a large financial backing and a lot of other good investments to fall back on...which most large corporations have.....
