Went to Winston's with my wife's grandparents for Easter. Wow. It was great. I had the Filet of Beef with Eggs and hashbrowns and it was wonderful.. The only disappointing aspect of the meal were the desserts. My wife had the coconut cake and said it was very crumbly and dry. I had a piece of chocolate truffle cake and it was just ok. That aside the rest of the meal was fabulous. It was the best steak I think I have ever had. What are your thoughts on this place?

Well, it is a training ground fo rthe about-to-graduate student chefs, so it can have its ups and downs. Since I graduated from there in pastry, I was sad to hear your comments on the desserts.

As much as the beer guys here celebrate finely crafted beers, I celebrate finely made pastry and desserts.
