The 'burbs of the Ville
Amy Hoover wrote:Wow, I didn't realize that. On a recent business trip to Chicago I dined at Nacional 27. I dined alone and was taken care of like I was the freaking Queen of England. My 10 pm reservation made it perfect for me to stay and watch the salsa dancing competition they were hosting that evening. The food was phenomenal and the service impeccable. The GM (now I know to be Adam Seger) stopped by my table twice to check up on me. When I was ready to leave, my server escorted me out of a private back door so I wouldn't have to fight the bar crowd. It was a very lovely evening for me, and I never once regretted dining out on my own. My only complaint was that they didn't have a better bourbon selection, which is a complaint of mine at most Chicago restaurants. I can't wait to go back next time I'm in town.
Speaking of Chicago....Is anyone going to the NRA show this weekend or next week?

I did not realize that there were so many restaurant people interested in the National Rifle Association....
