Chocolate Bars..

by Barb Freda » Wed Apr 23, 2008 3:52 pm

What is that chocolate bar made by a company in Lexington--people who use single source cacao beans from Ghana--The company made a bar that was really dark--as well as some milk chocolate. Google isn't giving me anything, but I wanted to pass the name on to someone...If the company is still around.

Thanks.

Hey, Barb!

You're probably thinking of Jamieson's Chocolate in Mount Sterling. They get their chocolate from Ghana, which raises the question, how do you count them for food miles? Eastern Kentucky or West Africa?

Here's their Website:

Love the question. I vote for Mid-Atlantic.
