cooking lessons in the Ville?

by ShaneMcD » Mon Apr 21, 2008 6:14 pm

Since moving to the Ville in July, my fiance` and I have had wonderful dinning experiences and now I would like to further my knowledge of cooking by some of the "best" in town...any suggestions for cooking lessons?

Thanks,
Shane

Campbells Gourmet Cottage. It is in the shopping center at Hubbards Lane and Westport Rd. She has top chefs for cooking classes. Chefs from Corbetts, Equus, Volare, Science Hill, Porcini, Havana Rumba, and more. Classes are usually about $45 and are from 6:30 to 9:00.

Girlfriend there now with a fish class from Leila Gentile of Stans Fish.

This is a link to Campbell's class offerings. I am taking a knife skills class in June and can hardly wait.

Shane, I have taken plenty of classes at Campbells Gourmet Cottage and rarely have I been disappointed. As my wife likes to say "its like dinner and a movie". All of the chefs/instructors are extremely knowledgeable and personable. A printed recipe of the class preparations plus tips and some interesting rumors make for a very enjoyable time.
Unlike most of you, I am not a nut, but I do roast em.
