Mike Linnig’s Restaurant hosts “MusicFest” April 24th- May 11th

Mike Linnig’s Restaurant is currently open for their 84th season. They are celebrating Louisville’s Derby tradition with a 3 week festival and entertainment tent located on their 40 acre property along the Ohio River. MusicFest will be held April 24th – May 11th.

MusicFest will include FREE entertainment by a variety of acts including bluegrass bands, karaoke competitions, Hannah Montana look-a-like contest, Shirley Temple look-a-like contest, Patrick Henry Hughes, the Diane Moore Dancers, Artie Dean Harris, “Mike Linnig’s Market” – An arts, crafts and flea market fair, the Codfish Ball, “SouthSide Live” – Louisville’s South End FREE Concert Series, and much more! Otis Berry will be appearing as Elvis Presley and Hank Williams and Mike Morris will be performing as Willie Nelson.

The Okolona Street Rod Club will be hosting a Rod Roundup on Wednesday, May 7th featuring street rods, hot rods and classic cars. The Derby City Mustang Club and the Louisville Mustang Club will be showing off their cars on MusicFest on Sunday, May 4th.

The Pleasure Ridge Park Fire Department will be working hard as waiters on May 10th and 11th and all tips will be donated to the Crusade for Children!

This starts today. I am going to a party in the South End on Saturday, and we are thinking about stopping at ML's on our way out. Sounds like fun and sounds like yum.
