Shady Lane Cafe-Great Lunch-Great Crowd

Thanks to the good folks on this forum, I went to lunch at Shady Lane Cafe today. Wow!

The crowd was impressive. The line to order extended to the door, but moved quickly and was actually became a part of the "deli" experience. The constant flow of conversation and good will from our hostess made everyone feel a part of a special day and...the reuben was great!

Thanks to the Cafe and thanks to the forum for the recommendation.

pardon my ignorance.. where is shady lane cafe or how do I get there?

I on Brownsboro road at the Waterson. In the shopping center with Brownsboro Hardware. Not sure what used to be there but I'm sure some forumites could contribute on that matter

Good burgers, GREAT soups, and excellent home made pies.

That location has had a few prior eateries. One I remember was named "Two Guys and a Grill."
