Kentucky Ale THUNDER TASTING @ Derby City Espresso

by Matthew Landan » Thu Apr 10, 2008 10:13 pm

Stop in, roll up and say hi! Derby City Espresso is you're one stop for hot coffee, strong espresso and cold craft beer if you're heading downtown for Thunder this Saturday.

We'll be opening early at 8am to serve hot hot coffee and tea on what looks to be a cool and cloudy day (I won't say rain, I won't say rain).

Starting at 1pm we'll be hosting Kentucky Ale from Lexington, KY and they will be sampling their great Kolsch style beer (Kentucky Light), as well as their Kentucky Bourbon Ale and Kentucky Ale.

We'll also have a keg of our excellent BBC Derby City Espresso Stout on tap for your iced coffee/beer drinking pleasure.

We'll also be serving Oak St. Pizza by the slice all day long for the low low price of $2 a slice.

We'll be serving all day long and into the night. We'll be open till 2am.

Are you prepared for 800,000 people? J/K, we know only a fraction of a percent will show up. But even that small fraction could overwhelm your place. Good luck.
Great food along with great company is truly one of lifes best treasures.

That was a lot of fun, Matthew. Let's do it again some time. BTW, Peter makes a stupendous beer bottle.
