Went by there a week or so ago on a Friday night and it looked closed. Any info.? I would really miss this place if it's gone.

I drove by last night at around 7:40 p.m. The Patron was dark and the parking lot was empty.

One of us should give them a call. The Patron has a funny way of looking dark even when it's open, and this rumor has come up before for that reason. I'm running out the door now or I would do it; I hope one of you folks will jump in and do it before I get back. :)

Thanks to Doogy and Michelle for making this effort. I'll wait until later in the afternoon and do the same, and will also try an Email or two that I have.

Because of past instances where the Patron "looked closed" (there's something about its windows and lighting that makes it seem unusually dark from outside), I really think it's important to confirm this.

While this wouldn't apply to your Friday sighting, Mark, it's worth note that the Patron currently, according to its Website ( http://www.thepatron.org/ ), is open for dinner only three nights per week:

Dinner Hours:
5:30 - 10, Thr.
5:30 - 11, Fri. - Sat.

Lunch Hours:
11:00 - 3, Tues. - Sun.
Brunch, Sat. & Sun.

Reservations Preferred: 502.896.1661

No answer at 5:46 pm tonight on the phone. Actually it was this past Friday night we drove by...looked closed, no cars, drove on to Maido. We are in Florida soaking up some sun right now...but gotta keep an eye on what's happening at home.

Glad you did, Mark! Enjoy that Florida sun. We caught a few rays of it at my Mom's place in January.

Sign on door this evening says they will be closed 4/1 to 4/9 and reopen Th 4/10 for lunch and dinner. It says "Thank you for supporting our Spring Break"

Look for Amber in Florida, Mark. :)
