BuzzWorx Coffee Shop on Main Street - $40000
BuzzWorx coffee & espresso on West Main Street in Louisville is for sale. The business is in a mixed use building with a drivers license bureau and a UK recruiting office. It's within 2 blocks of 5 museums and has build a decent base of regulars according to the owner, in addition to new foot traffic daily (locals and tourists). Directly across the street from the soon-to-be-built Museum Plaza.

$40,000 price includes all equipment, furniture, and almost $1500 worth of product and supplies. Upon sale they owner will train the new owner on how to run a shop, make espresso drinks, provide current list of vendors, and anything else necessary to effectively and efficiently run the business.

New owner will have to negotiate a new lease with the landlord.

Looks like a very serious opportunity for long-term growth!

Matthew, just curious, are you involved in this deal, or just passing it along? Doesn't matter, just wondering if a buyer would be working with you or if this is just a third-party posting.

I'm not involved at all.
I just saw the posting on Craigslist and thought I'd pass it along to the boards.

Glad you did, Matthew, and again, to re-emphasize, it would be okay if you were involved - these forums also serve the restaurant community. I was just gonna say, if this project was a Matthew project, it would have been worth a mention!

Ha ha, if anybody wants to finance me I'd be interested in looking at the deal!
Derby City Espresso west could be really fun!
But I would caution anyone looking into this to first meet with the landlord to discuss the new lease.
I suspect that the rent is going up in the space which might be (pure speculation) the reason they are selling the shop.
