I like it. Thank you for suggesting and accepting donation to a worthy group in lieu of payment for your forum setup and maintenance services. Those who are active posters or lurkers here might consider the forum as they do their cable/satellite, magazine, newspaper or other subscriptions. Many of us probably spend as much time here as we do with any print or other media we pay for, so your suggestion of a modest charitable donation is generous and entirely appropriate.

We get early notification here of such things as Louisville Originals coupon program offerings, which saves a bunch of money at local restaurants - anybody who has snared one of those should consider Randy's offer and give something back.

I've been lending on Kiva for over a year and have never had a default- it is one of the best organizations I know of.
When so much in this world feels out of control and I feel helpless, I think about my money out there on Kiva and know that I am making a small difference somewhere in the world.

I agree! Most people I know have become Kiva-holics! I'm not suggesting anyone should, but it's great to know we individuals can do something to help people somewhere else on the planet.
