Early closings ??

by Trevor Semones » Fri Mar 07, 2008 5:36 pm

I was wondering if any restaurants were considering an early close this lovely evening?
I'm gonna play it by ear, but I don't have high expectations for sales. If it starts looking worse out there I'm inclined to send the staff home. What are the plans of you other independents out there?

Considering an early closing, particularly with this front that is supposed to come in after 6pm, but considering only with some trepidation. Always a difficult call.

Anyone out there venturing out to eat tonight?

Both Seviche restaurants will be open tonite. Here at Goose Creek we've got quite a few reservations within the last hour so I guess people are coming out.
Drive safely everyone.

I'm personally delivering tonight. I'm not sure what to expect in the dining room... I'm hoping people decide to stay close to home tonight and eat rather then driving out to Springhurst or The Summit Area.

DH hit the shelves at Seafood Connection and Paul's and loaded up the frig. Looks like I'll practice the ancient art of cooking this weekend, lol.

Due to the spring blizzard Strattos will be closing early tonight. We kept the kitchen open untill 7:30 with a minimum of guests, but for the saftey of the staff (and the poor turn out) we were forced to call it a night. Be Safe out there foodies.

The powers that be made the call to close the club at 2:30pm...

It's 8:30 now and I just finished shoveling the drive about an hour ago and it is already about 1" deep again and coming down hard...

I give up until the morning...I have no reason to leave the house, I have a three day supply of bread and milk

First, thank you to all our patrons who faired the storm to come and eat with us tonight. After a few calls from customers and close friends, we are closing the doors to get our staff home safely. There are some accidents out there and alot of even the main roads that have been heavily salted are still really slick after 30 minutes. Right in front of the restaurant we watched the trucks spread a ton of salt and when we checked it, the salt barely fazed it. Try to make it home Louisville and be safe.

Be Blessed
