i'll leave it at that.

I put vegetables in your desserts, white chocolate with your fish and other nonsense stuff that you think shouldn't make sense, but coax the nonsense into something that makes complete sense in your mouth. Just open your mind, mouth and eat.

A good buddy who lives in France and helps me out on the tech side with some of our projects. He won't be participating here as a foodie since he lives a long way away, but we're in his debt for getting the recent software upgrade accomplished.

You would never know that it was named after a King the way it is pronounced around here.
(I know better of course)

I always ask "is there such a person as King Loua" ? (as in Lou a vull) it is supposed to be pronounced Lou EE vill.

Just like asterik........ and reck a nize....... drives me nuts.......

and oh, "Where are you at"? jeez.

Sorry, my rant for the evening.

You should come to "Louis - ville" sometime. We'll make arrangements to get you the 120 km to Lexington and on the way we'll stop at Versailles (KY - pronunciation= "Vur-sales"). If you're still in the mood, we'll drive you 28 km northeast from Lexington to Paris (KY). If we ply you with enough bourbon along the way, you'll feel right at home. :)

(By the way, Randy, thank you for your contribution in making these forums places we enjoy visiting.)

actually the pronunciations used here (Loo-uh-ville, or Looey-ville) are much closer to the French than other Louisvilles in the USA, which are all pronounced Lewis-ville.
