No worries Roger. It will be arriving tomorrow with Dan and Stephen, as will the two vintages of BBIS. Sorry to alarm you when your mind is obviously full with many thoughts of Gravity Head craziness. Look forward to tomorrow. Should be lots o' fun.

I made it up there Saturday night... and my night consisted of JW Lee's aged in Calvados casks, Three Floyds Fantabulous Resplendence (which has aged wonderfully), Stone 11th Anniversary, Hopslam, EKU 28, Dark Horse Scotty Karate Scotch Ale, one sip of someone else's NABC Thunderfoot (the keg of that had just blown before we got there) and a Founder's Imperial Stout. Thank goodness I had a driver last night

Looks like my decision to stop in with limited time on Saturday afternoon was a good one! I knew the Thunderfoot wouldn't last long so I stretched to accommodate two Thunderfoots and a Fantabulous Resplendence.

Back to the mines next week, hopefully with more time and a driver. Anybody know if the Calvados-aged pin made it through Saturday night?

The pin was still pouring yesterday, but I wasn't there last night to check whether it survives. It's been hard to pick a favorite so far, although I honestly believe (again this year) that NABC's Thunderfoot takes a back seat to none.

Here's the current Gravity Head 2008 lineupdate, with Dogfish Head 120 Minute IPA hopefully going on today:

Thanks to everyone who turned out. Opening weekend was a new sales record for us, and there's still another 40-odd kegs to be tapped.

I concur. While I've only had it a few times, Thunderfoot is one of the best beers to come out of NABC. A very imaginative beer for sure.
