They are absolutely magnificent! Perfectly seasoned and cooked, cuts like soft butter and melts in your mouth! Wow! Any other recommendations for scallops?

I really like nios @ 917 scallops as well as Old Stone Inn. I do not handle the PR for nios or Old Stone Inn but my boyfriend does work the front of the house at nios...!

I really liked the scallop app at Volare, three scallops on a pea puree drizzled with balsamic I believe. Delicious and beautiful with the light green puree.

I've heard lillys has delicious scallops..however after a friend told me a nasty story about how B class restaurants push "skate" off as large sea scallops.. Has anyone else heard this? However, I AM NOT SAYING LILLYS DOES THIS but it was just brought to my mind.

I don't understand how this rumor got started. The two creatures are so dissimilar.
A scallop is one big delicious muscle while skate's flesh is layered and comes apart in strips when cooked.
I've read this rumor for years and it always makes me scratch my bald head.

If you're going to post this type of statement, maybe you ought to have something better than "I've heard" to back it up. It seems as though you haven't even dined at Lilly's
Great food along with great company is truly one of lifes best treasures.
