I'm not a fan of Jaggers, but one is coming to Fern Creek in the former Walgreens on Bardstown Rd and Colonel Hancock. That is less than a mile from Bubbas 33 which is located at Bardstown Rd and the Gene Snyder.
It is worth noting that they are both owned by Texas Roadhouse which is, of course, a Louisville company. I did go to Bubbas once with my son. Its actually pretty good for the type of place it is--good beers, a wide ranging menu, resonable prices, and good portions.
Bubbas does a really good business there and serves as a gathering point right next to the Snyder exit. I guess their research team concluded that there's enough business in that short stretch for both restaurants. I think they'll do well there.
