Fair Restaurant

This is a new place in New Albany. It leans Italian, although the owners also run three Mexican-style restaurants. It is fairly small, also fairly noisy, but all four of us had wonderful dinners. Three of us had pasta and seafood dinners, and one had scallops only. The seafood (shrimp, lobster and scallops) were perfectly prepared, and the light cream sauce was wonderful. The only downside (and I'm completely sure this will be corrected) is the bar service. Apparently on Saturday night the bartender was a no-show and the manager took over. He was overwhelmed, and it took a half-hour to get a glass of wine to our table. Our server, however, was fantastic, and completely understood when I told her that we were more than dissatisifed with having to wait that long for drinks. They comped an appetizer (completely unnecessary gesture). This place is going on my keeper's list.

Good to know, TP. This is the second good report I've heard about this place recently. Added to the list!
