Taj Palace is bringing back a lunch buffet next week

Taj Palace, on Goose Creek Road, plans to offer an all-you-can-eat lunch buffet starting July 15. This is a limited-time deal, but if it’s popular it might become permanent. I don’t know how much it will cost. Here’s the Facebook post:

Visiting our various Indian buffets was a highlight of my lunch dining over many years. We had so many good ones before the pandemic.

Taj Palace, when it was on Bardstown Rd at Goldsmith, was our regular dig when my wife and I got to Louisville about 30 yrs ago.

I won't be back in town until early August. But I'll gladly make that drive and hope others will support them. Their success could serve as a model for others.

That's excellent news! In general I'm not a fan of buffets, but to learn about a less familiar cuisine there's nothing better than to be able to try a little of this, a little of that. Definitely need to get over there and support this!

Apparently, the Taj lunch buffet is ending. I'm not sure they gave it enough time to catch back on, but it's not my decision.

I went out there last week with my son. There was a decent amount of customers and it seemed to be a positive ambiance. I'm sorry to hear that it hasn't worked out for them.
