A generous thing from the folks at Pizza Lupo:
It's been brutally cold and dangerous for our unhoused population in Louisville with these frigid temps and limited capacity at our shelters. Wayside Christian mission tells us they're seeing 400-500 people on any given day, and they're in dire need of winter coats, gloves, hats and FOOD for these unhoused individuals and families.
We've added a menu item to our online ordering system that is also available in house: "Send a Pizza to the Shelter". We will be taking these orders and compiling them for a weekly delivery of hot pizza to their shelter at 432 E Jefferson st. Help out if you can, the shelter tells us there's no amount of food or winter item donations they couldn't put to good use right now.
Bring any of the items on their current need list for a 10% discount on your order in-store, and we'll take them to the shelter with our weekly pizza delivery.
Winter Coats
Warm hats
Warm gloves - specifically children's sizes
Tampons / Pads
