The Winter 2008 issue of Food & Dining is now on sale, with its usual heavy load of articles and photos. In this issue you'll find a comprehensive report on the fish sandwich and why this simple treat is such a local success, and profiles of three particularly beer-friendly eateries. You'll also get all the regular reports on beer, wine, spirits and coffee ... recipes, tips, humor, road trip reports, and more.

You can pick up Food & Dining in area hotel rooms or at many shops and news stands (here's a list), or subscribe at our special rate that, with free gift certificates for local restaurants, gives you a full year of Food & Dining for free! (Subscribe here!)

You should. It's a quarterly, and subscriptions start with the next issue. In December, you just missed the Autumn issue, hence the delay.

Issues go in the mail from the printing company, so if it's on the street, it's also in the mail. Sadly, we have to depend on the tender mercies of the U.S. Postal Service, and there's some reason to believe that second-class mail is handled by trained apes.
