Uncle D’s Franks

I just saw on their FB page that their corn dogs are back ! Guess they got that vented hood for their fryers. They also have a vegetarian corn dog now, but their home made batter does have egg powder in it.

If you haven’t tried this yet I highly recommend it. Most of their sides and soups are home made.

Nice! Looking at the menu on the web page, it's cheap, too! Might have to take a run out to Fern Creek!

Unfortunately Uncle D's went out of business this week.

Per their FB page, rising costs and lack of visibility hurt them. They said being forced to purchase a hood for their deep fryers left them no money to install a sign on the exterior of the building.

It's a pity as I enjoyed their dogs, but being in the bend of that shopping center really hurt them. They're now raising money to start a food truck.
