Angio's Italian Restaurant Closing

by Terri Beam » Wed Jan 25, 2023 10:12 pm

Yet another closing was announced today.

We've only eaten there once, but I'm sorry to see yet another non-chain restaurant close. I fear this is only going to get worse, and that bit from Demolition Man, "All restaurants are Taco Bell," will come true if the economic situation does not improve asap. I wonder how much of this is related to related to property lease rates going sky high.

What makes that link even sadder is that if you scroll down, you see a similar story about Germantown Social. I only ate there once for brunch but I was very impressed. That's such a nice space and it's a real shame that we've lost three promising restaurant there, two within the last year and a half or so.
