Upscale eatery set to open this month

Though it's tucked away in a strip shopping center on Taylorsville Road, developer Rodulfo Pantoja is convinced his new restaurant venture will be a hidden gem for the city.
Pantoja, a Peruvian immigrant who has made a fortune building condominiums in Louisville, is investing more than $2 million to open Caffé Perusa, an upscale restaurant featuring American continental cuisine.
The 10,000-square-foot, two-level eatery is scheduled to make its public debut on Thursday, Feb. 21, after years of planning.
